A billion hryvnias more were allocated for pensions in August than in July – a total of UAH 51.4 billion. This is reported by the Pension Fund of Ukraine .

“According to the approved schedule, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has completed the financing of pensions in August. Uah 51.4 billion was allocated for pension payments in August,” the Pension Fund said.
Details
Uah 50.2 billion was allocated for pension payments in July.
Thus, expenditures for these purposes for the month increased by UAH 1.2 billion, or 2.4%.

According to the Ministry of Finance, UAH 214.2 billion was spent on social security (payment of pensions, benefits, scholarships) or 21.7% of the total expenditures in the Budget 2022.
