In Irpen in the Kyiv region, the first memorial sign to territorial defense in Ukraine was installed. This was announced on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine .

“In honor of the volunteer soldiers who were the first to defend the city of Irpin and did everything to expel the enemy from the north of the Kyiv region, the city authorities installed the first memorial sign in Ukraine to the territorial defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the message says.
Recall
On June 11, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law on enabling territorial defense to perform tasks in areas of hostilities.
