Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk said that people were leaving en masse from donetsk region, where mandatory evacuation was announced, as well as from Kherson, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia regions .

She stressed that almost 10 thousand evacuees in August are children.
“It is the duty of the state and every adult to save children from danger. That is why I do not get tired of calling: do not put children at risk, leave. Be responsible parents, guardians, educators! You and your children are waiting for you in many safe regions!” said Vereshchuk.

The Cabinet of Ministers has increased responsibility for children during the evacuation – parents who refused mandatory evacuation may be deprived of parental rights.
