Old Car Expo has announced the opening of its museum of retro cars in Kiev. The exposition of retro equipment was completed for several years, it got really unique specimens.
Finally, Kyiv will have its own automobile museum, as similar expositions already exist in Dnipro, Lviv and Zaporizhia.
The work on the organization of the Kyiv Museum was carried out by enthusiasts and professionals of the retro movement for three years, and finally the opening was officially announced in 2021.
The exposition consists of several dozen cars – both domestic and foreign. All of them belong to Ukrainian collectors, and not only to Kyivites. Each selected car represents a certain stage of automotive history. All cars are in their original form and technically serviceable, on the go. And some specimens were restored specifically for the museum.
The spacious pavilion has a place for both representatives of the people’s compact class and government limousines with a history of service in special garages.
A separate collection of motorcycles has been formed, among them many unique models of the Kyiv Motorcycle Plant.
The Old Car Expo Museum will have a café and a shop where you can buy souvenirs and symbols of motoring of the past years. For the most inquisitive visitors there are excursions with an experienced guide. The location of the Kyiv Museum Old Car Expo – in the area of the metro “Akademistechko”, the date of opening will be announced in addition.
