As part of the mandatory evacuation, about 10,000 people have already left the territory of the Donetsk region. Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko announced this during the briefing .

“As of today, more than 9,600 people have left Donetsk region. Of them, 1,785 are children. In general, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, and Kyiv regions received the most refugees, Tymoshenko said.

He added that the mandatory evacuation continues, and restoration work continues in all territories freed from Russian occupation.

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, Iryna Vereshchuk , reported that about 35,000 civilians, a third of them children, have been evacuated from dangerous regions since the beginning of August.
