Internally displaced persons will be housed in the buildings of educational institutions that will work online. Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, reported this .

“Currently, a significant number of educational institutions in Ukraine are preparing for the academic year, but at the same time they are going to work online. Their premises – insulated and equipped – can become a good shelter for IDPs. It was decided to increase the number of institutions that will be converted into compact living spaces for internal immigrants,” she said.

Vereshchuk added that the first task of the authorities is to provide every family evacuating from dangerous regions and from temporarily occupied territories with proper living conditions.
It is noted that international organizations are planned to be involved in order to support the deployment of additional places for immigrants in educational institutions.
