The US Department of Defense signed a $182 million contract with Raytheon Technologies for the purchase of NASAMS short- and medium-range anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMS) for Ukraine.

As noted in the Pentagon, the estimated date of completion of the production of the air defense system is August 23, 2024.
“Raytheon Co., Tewksbury, Mass., has been awarded a $182,295,333 contract for the procurement of advanced surface-to-air missile systems,” the statement said.
