The US State Department has confirmed the death of another US citizen in the war in Ukraine, CNN reports .

“We can confirm the death of a US citizen in Ukraine. Out of respect for the inviolability of the family’s private life, we have no further comments yet,” said a representative of the State Department.
The State Department did not name the American or give any details about the circumstances of his death.

This is at least the third US citizen to die during the invasion. Stephen Zabilski died in May, and Marine Corps veteran Willie Cancel died in April, CNN notes.
