According to him, this is the last step towards canceling the permit regime with all neighboring countries.
“After the signing of the “transport visa-free” with the EU, Moldova remained the only country on our borders with which cargo transportation was not liberalized. Given the large volume of cargo currently traveling in this direction, the signing of a bilateral protocol will save us from the risks of stopping the export of our cargo.” , – explained the official.
He also noted that last year the total turnover between Ukraine and Moldova grew by almost a third compared to the year before. The war made its corrections, and considering the blockade of most Ukrainian ports, the Moldovan direction has become even more important for our cargo, Nayem noted.
