As a result of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops killed at least 379 children in Ukraine. The Prosecutor General’s Office announced this in Telegram .

“As of the morning of August 28, 2022, more than 1,112 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 379 children died and more than 733 were injured of varying degrees of severity,” the message reads.

On August 26, as a result of enemy shelling of residential infrastructure in the village of Two boys, 8 years old and 1 year and 8 months old, died in Kamianka, Pologiv district, Zaporizhia region.
Children were most affected in the Donetsk region – 388, Kharkiv – 202, Kyiv – 116, Chernihiv – 68, Mykolaiv – 67, Luhansk – 61, Kherson – 55, Zaporizhia – 44.
As noted, these numbers are not final, because the work to establish the victims and dead in the places of active hostilities, as well as in the temporarily captured and liberated territories, is ongoing.
