“The Security Service of Ukraine completed a pre-trial investigation into the director of the Russian propaganda TV channel RT, Anton Kuznetsov-Krasovsky. He repeatedly used all media platforms available to him to publicly call for the genocide of Ukrainians, the elimination of Ukraine’s independence and the overthrow of its constitutional order,” the message reads.
Details
SBU investigators have gathered a comprehensive evidence base to bring the director of Russia Today to criminal responsibility.
In particular, it is documented that Kuznetsov-Krasovsky repeatedly spoke negatively about:
▪️ Ukrainians as a nation;
▪️ the existence of Ukraine as an independent and sovereign state.
In his publications posted on YouTube and Telegram channels, he called on the Russian authorities to physically destroy Ukrainians:
“Guys, it’s obvious that we need to pull ourselves together. Get together, stop thinking about “brothers”. They are not our brothers. I grew up there, I say with knowledge: Mochite! Let’s go! Enough!”
As noted, Kuznetsov-Krasovskyi spread anti-Ukrainian propaganda not only on the air of the TV channel, but also created “author’s” video recordings such as “S.ka, этой страны не должный быть!”. At the same time, he convinced the audience of the expediency of conducting a so-called “special military operation” on the territory of Ukraine.
Currently, the pre-trial investigation within the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated under part 2 of Art. 442 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (genocide, public calls for genocide, as well as production of materials with calls for genocide for the purpose of their distribution or distribution of such materials). The indictment was submitted to the court.
