Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba considers coronavirus to be the only problem of Ukrainian visa-free travel. Now the pandemic affects all countries.
According to him, all visa-free travel with the EU is in this state. Kuleba noted that the situation with the coronavirus in Ukraine does not allow reaching an acceptable level.
“However, there are no political or legal problems with visa-free travel. The only problem from which we are now suffering is the COVID-19 pandemic … I am telling you quite seriously: really the only problem of visa-free travel is COVID-19,” the minister said.
Earlier, Kuleba said that the Constitutional Court, by its decision, put Ukraine on the edge of the abyss in the issue of a visa-free regime with the European Union.
Kuleba announced the possibility of losing visa-free travel with the EU due to the decision of the CCU.
However, the deputy head of the President’s Office, Igor Zhovkva, said that as of now, there is no threat to the visa-free regime with the European Union.
