The police of Donetsk region are evacuating the population and managed to evacuate more than 1,900 large families in a month. This is stated in the message of the National Police of Ukraine .

“Police of Donetsk region evacuated 6,500 boys and girls. In a month, more than 1,900 families with many children and families that found themselves in difficult circumstances were evacuated from under shelling. All children received housing in safer regions of Ukraine or abroad and the opportunity to study. To calm the children during evacuation, the policemen take Rem’s dachshund with them. Playing with the dog, the children distract themselves from homesickness,” the report says.
