Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, to whose competence the Cabinet of Ministers recently included lotteries and gambling, questioned the continued existence of the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAIL), which issued operating licenses to the pro-Russian betting company TBK LLC (brand 1xBet – ed. .).

“I saw a discussion in the media and social networks about this issue (cancellation of the 1xBet license, – ed.) (…) I have a question about the existence of the Commission (KRAIL – ed.). Is it necessary at all? Because everything can be done online and without officials. Now we are conducting an audit of all processes and will propose a strategy on how to make a digital product from this commission, which exists today,” said Fedorov.
Zelensky replied and offered to deal with the issue of the company’s work to Prime Minister Denys Shmygal with the involvement of law enforcement officers.
At the same time, KRAIL still does not see a Russian trace in the 1xBet company and in fact is engaged in “political blindness”, declaring that they are “guarding the honest and transparent activity of all participants in the gambling market”. Ukrainians consider such statements by KRAIL “falsehood” and call for the closure of the Commission.
