According to reports, two inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will remain at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant on a permanent basis, as stated in the statement of the ambassador of the Russian Federation to international institutions in Vienna to the Russian State Information Agency.

On September 1, an IAEA mission arrived at the Zaporizhia NPP captured by the occupiers.
According to Energoatom , as of 6:00 p.m. on September 1, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, who led the mission, left the Zaporizhzhia NPP. Most of the members of the delegation left the station with him, and 5 representatives of the IAEA mission remained.
Grossi said that he had completed his first visit to the Zaporizhzhya NPP and added that the IAEA would maintain a permanent presence there.
