It is not true that from October 1, women whose professions are on the list of military registration specialties must register for military registration. At the same time, there are three specialties that are necessary for the Ukrainian army. Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar announced this during the telethon .

“It is not true that as of October 1, women whose professions are on the list of military registration specialties – that they will necessarily have to be registered. (…) There are a certain number of specialties that are mandatory. This a small list. The General Staff publicly named three specialties: medical, cooking, radio electronics,” said the deputy minister.

Malyar noted that they are now doing everything possible so that from October 1, women do not have to register for the military.
The deputy minister emphasized that there are specialties whose representatives have always been registered (for example, doctors). She added that women working in other specialties can join the military register voluntarily.
“What does this mean? That women who want to have the right to be registered. There is nothing to be afraid of. They are spreading panic that it will be forbidden to leave, women are supposedly ready to leave. This is really just panic,” added Malyar.
