The US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink held talks with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov before the new meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the Rammstein format, the diplomat herself reported on Twitter .

The fifth meeting of the contact group on the defense of Ukraine in the Rammstein format will be held on September 8 in Germany.
The format of the contact group on the defense of Ukraine was initiated in April by the United States. The first meeting took place in the German city of Ramstein at the end of April.
The previous meeting in the Rammstein format took place at the end of July. More than 50 countries took part in it. Then the participants of the meeting discussed increasing defense aid to Ukraine and ensuring its “defense and ability to defend itself in the longer term,” the Pentagon said.
Today’s meeting of the contact group on the defense of Ukraine will be a signal to Russian President Vladimir Putin that the countries of the world are ready to support Ukraine in the long term, senior officials of the US Department of Defense reported .
