In Ukraine, an electronic queue for crossing the border may start working already in October. As Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Mustafa Nayem noted at the briefing .

“This issue can be solved by an electronic queue. It will be done on the basis of the Ministry of Infrastructure. We are making a presentation for carriers this week. I hope that the electronic queue will start working already this October. It will be absolutely free, and no one will stand in queues. But the issue of people not standing can be temporarily resolved. In the long term, a service zone should be built there. There is a service zone near Yagodin, and it should simply be implemented,” Nayem said.

The Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov added that since the beginning of the war, capital expenditures throughout the country had been stopped, unless they related to some defense tasks. However, the government allocated funds for the completion of the pass on the border with Romania and “Krakivets”.
Currently, there are plans to build many border points in order to improve the situation with queues.
“We can say that the development of points is currently being planned. For example, Yagodin. We still have plans to expand this checkpoint,” Kubrakov added.

On August 13, it became known that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is working on expanding the capacity of border checkpoints.
