At a meeting of the UN Security Council, Norway’s permanent representative to the organization, Mona Juhl, said that the international community should support Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction efforts in every possible way so that millions of refugees can return home .

“The war started by Russia… destroys houses, schools and hospitals. It is important for us to support Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts, so that millions of forcibly displaced people could one day return home,” Yul emphasized.
She also added that humanitarian institutions and development organizations should be involved in this important work and expressed concern about the fact that Russia is creating filtration camps in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
“Humanitarian organizations must have unhindered access to all places of detention in accordance with international humanitarian law,” she said.
