Ukrainians now have the opportunity to apply for the adoption of a child through the public services portal “Diya”.

“One of the first steps to adoption is submitting an application to register as a candidate. Previously, this service was available only offline – now you can submit an application online in 30 minutes, free of charge, without queues and completely transparent,” the message reads.

You can fill out the application at the link . It will be checked by children’s services within five working days. After that, they will visit the home of the potential parents to make sure that the child can live there. If everything is fine, the adopters will be registered for candidate status.
