The sounds of explosions were heard in Poltava today, but the head of the Poltava OVA, Dmytro Lunin, reassured local residents that these are ongoing military exercises .

“The sounds of explosions that the residents of Poltava recently heard are military exercises on the territory of the community. We are keeping calm. And we are not ignoring air alarms! Glory to the Armed Forces,” Lunin wrote in Telegram shortly before noon.
However, after that, an air alert was announced in the region, and Lunin pointed out the “missile danger”.
