Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov noted that the first Kyiv Tech Summit web3 hackathon in Ukraine brought together more than 200 Ukrainian IT specialists .

He noted that Ukrainian IT companies and specialists are “heroes of the economic front”, and IT is one of the “few industries that can stand, work and pay taxes during the war”.
“We are doing everything so that Ukraine develops as a technological state. Countries continue to compete for people, create the best tax and legal conditions to find talent. People are the most valuable capital,” said the minister.
Fedorov added that the struggle is taking place on all fronts, while Ukrainians continue to set ambitious goals. In particular, work is currently underway on the development of the Army of Drones and military-tech. The “Diya.City” project has already been created, which, according to Fedorov, offers “the best conditions in the world for the development of IT companies.”
According to him, implementation of one of the projects presented at the web3-hackathon is planned at the state level. The project may be related to fintech, virtual assets, registries, blockchain.
He thanked the IT community for continuing to fight on the technological front, protect the economic front and bring victory closer.
“Ukraine is the bravest country in the world. The Armed Forces are doing the impossible. And we must do everything to emerge from the war as a powerful digital state,” Fedorov stressed.
