Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar urges not to prematurely spread information about the liberation of populated areas by the Ukrainian military. She wrote about this on Facebook .

“Thank you to everyone who cares, but we ourselves will cope with the psychological pressure on the enemy! It is not necessary to write about every temporarily occupied settlement that it is already ours. Unfortunately, a lot of information about the supposedly liberated settlements is spreading on the networks, which does not correspond to reality. Among the so-called “liberated” in your posts, there are settlements that are only partially controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and there are ongoing battles, and there are even those whose liberation is not planned for the coming days,” said Malyar.
According to her, it is possible to talk about the fact that the settlement is ours when it has already been “cleared” and the law enforcement officers have carried out stabilization measures.
“That is, if our troops physically entered a settlement, this does not automatically mean that we control it. There may still be battles and plenty of special release events to come. Let’s consider what “our” is on the example of Balaklea. A few days ago there was a report that troops had entered the city. Today, we finally established control in the city, carried out all the necessary measures and raised the flag – which was also reported on the resources of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the deputy minister added.
Malyar urged to read the notices about the liberation of settlements on the official pages of the Ukrainian authorities – the Office of the President, the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff.
