During the briefing, the head of the Donetsk Regional Government, Pavlo Kyrylenko, said that the process of evacuating children continues every day in the Donetsk region, and currently more than 36,000 children remain in the region .

“About 200,000 children under the age of 18 lived in Donetsk region. Now there are 36,332 children left. The process of evacuating children continues every day,” he said.
Kyrilenko also added that all children and their parents will be evacuated when the temperature drops significantly. Special attention will be paid to those who live on the front line.
“No resident of Donetsk will be left to fend for himself. Yes. There is a way out of comfort zones. Yes. It is difficult and very difficult for people to leave their farms and homes, but they must understand that this way the military authorities on the spot will be able to act much more effectively”, – emphasizes the head of the OVA .
He also noted that, especially in the region, care is taken to evacuate children who remain in family-type orphanages.
Kyrylenko added that since the beginning of the war in Donetsk region, 78 residential buildings and 622 educational institutions remain destroyed or damaged.
