The Russians are preparing another provocation and shelling of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in occupied Energodar. Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated this on the air of the national telethon .

“There is information about the preparation of further provocations and shelling of the Zaporizhzhia station. The personnel of the aggressor have a plan to stay in cover during their signals, that is, there is a movement of equipment, there is a systematic activity to damage power lines, of which there are only a few left now, which connect the ZANP with the Ukrainian power system “, Yusov said.
At the same time, the representative of intelligence noted that, unfortunately, the aggressor’s actions are directed against energy stability in Ukraine, and may not only concern the ZNPP.
“The Russian aggressor is systematically shelling the entire energy infrastructure of Ukraine, and this can undoubtedly affect, in the end, other nuclear facilities – other nuclear plants,” Yusov explained, adding that the Russians still have quite a lot of missiles, which they can strike nuclear targets far from the front line.
“The latest strikes on the energy system and critical infrastructure of Ukraine are planned actions of the aggressor, and it is quite possible to imagine other scenarios (…) Putin wants to plunge Ukraine and all of Europe into a dark, cold winter,” he added
