Sweden announced the transfer to Ukraine of more than 500,000 doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine against COVID-19. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Ann Linde, on her Twitter page .

“The Swedish government today decided to donate more than 500,000 doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to Ukraine. Sweden’s donation is in response to Ukraine’s request last week for half a million doses,” she wrote.

The Swedish government added that in this way, Ukraine will become one of the first countries in the world outside the European Union to receive a new, updated vaccine.
