After several fake reports about the alleged involvement of the ATB network in the sale of humanitarian aid in Zaporizhzhia, which appeared in dozens of online media at the end of August, the ATB-Market company asked NABU for clarification .
Details
Let us recall that at that time unverified and unreliable information was distributed with reference to the alleged employee of the anti-corruption bureau Yevhen Shevchenko. In most cases, Internet resources did not even try to get a comment from “ATB”, although such a possibility is always there. So the messages contained only one unverified, unreliable and misjudged point of view. And that’s not all.
As stated in the official response of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, “at the time of receiving the request, the person specified in it is not an employee of the National Bureau, and therefore NABU is not responsible for the content of her statements…” Simply put, fake messages were spread by no less fake person.
In addition, the leader of domestic retail is not mentioned in any criminal proceedings. Moreover, the NABU assured that even the procedural status of “character in criminal proceedings” does not exist in the current legislation of Ukraine.
Who exactly and for what purpose tried to cast a shadow on the impeccable reputation of the patriotic business can only be guessed. But destabilizing the country during the war, trying to destabilize the systemic and socially oriented Ukrainian business – these are issues that today require close attention from the same law enforcement agencies such as NABU.
“Dear! It’s enough to hype famous brands, getting thousands of false likes and reposts… The war is on! We all have a single common task and a common goal – to defeat the enemy, to support our soldiers and the state in this struggle,” Borys Markov , Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of ATB Corporation , addressed the media on his Facebook page . It is “ATB” that is actually an outpost of the country’s food security today. Since the first days of the war, the company has provided support to Ukrainian soldiers, internally displaced persons, medical institutions, and collected funds for the treatment of injured children.
More than three thousand employees of “ATB” joined the ranks of the Armed Forces, changing their usual uniforms for military equipment, and stood up for the defense of Ukrainian independence and sovereignty. And tens of thousands of their colleagues in different parts of our country, also risking their own lives, stand guard over food security and deserve nothing but thanks.
