Japan is preparing a new package of aid to Ukraine in order to continue the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces and prepare for winter. The Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan, Serhiy Korsunskyi, announced this on the air of Radio NV .

“The aid to us does not stop, a new portion of this aid is being prepared, the only thing is that it is not a weapon, but it is what we will need in order to continue this fantastic counteroperation and in order to meet the winter,” Korsunskyi said.

The ambassador said that for now he would refrain from naming the devices that Ukraine is asking for, but reminded that the drones had already gone to the Armed Forces a long time ago.
“We have a very clear urgent request from the Ministry of Defense. Today (September 13 – Ed. also with the Secretary of Defense, we have given this list to the Japanese side. We have a clear understanding that they are studying it very carefully and understand the urgency of getting these things in. There are electronics and other equipment that we will need very much in the future and I hope that we we will be able to send it to Ukraine by winter,” said Korsunskyi.
