Experts of the Countering Disinformation Center at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine have compiled a selection of fakes told by Russian propagandists and Russian television .

The Russian mass media stated: “The Armed Forces, retreating, are destroying bridges, dams and power plants on the left bank of Ukraine… By destroying the bridges, Ukraine is helping the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to capture the “cauldron” of the Armed Forces groups on the left bank of the Dnieper.” To confirm this, the propagandists showed a video of the detonation of the overpass bridge of the federal autobahn A45 near the city of Siegen in Germany. It’s fake!
The second fake was told by the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country. There they showed footage of “the destruction of a barge with Ukrainian military personnel who tried to cross the Dnipro in the Zaporizhzhya NPP area for its seizure by force,” confirming the information with a video recording of Ka-52 helicopters shelling the support of the old German bridge across the Dnipro, which looks similar to a barge. It’s fake!
