At least three people have died after a small plane crashed into a house in the city of Lyon near Detroit. This was reported by CNN with reference to the data of the Sheriff of Auckland County.
The pilot and two passengers are believed to have been killed, the sheriff’s office said.
A family of five people living in the house escaped alive, but the house was engulfed in flames, the office said.
According to the owners of the house, the family was inside when the plane crashed. They were in the living room arguing over which movie to watch, and only moved to another room when the plane crashed into the house. It is also reported that a cat died in the family as a result of the accident.
It is reported that the house is located north of Auckland Airport.
