In the coming days, the weather in Ukraine will worsen again. Significant precipitation is forecast in the Carpathians, and up to 5 cm of snow may fall in the highlands.

On Sunday, September 18, rains and thunderstorms are forecast in most regions of Ukraine, during the day the wind will increase to 15-20 m/s.
At night in Zakarpattia and Prykarpattia, during the day in the western, northern and central regions, there will be heavy rains, the amount of precipitation is 20-30 mm (I level of danger, yellow).
In addition, up to 5 cm of snow may fall in the Carpathians.
“There is heavy rain with sleet in the Carpathians, the amount of precipitation is 40-50 mm, (II level of danger, orange). In the Carpathian highlands, the formation of a snow cover of 3-5 cm is possible,” the message reads.
