According to the latest data, 13 more victims were admitted to the Batken Regional United Hospital. A total of 31 people were hospitalized with various injuries, the ministry informs.
The general condition of the victims has not yet been reported. It is reported that currently all medical institutions and the emergency medical service of the Batken region have been switched to an enhanced mode of operation.

What preceded
Fighting regularly breaks out between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, which share a common border of 970 kilometers. The disputed territory is the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan.
As a result of last year’s clashes, 50 people died, many were forced to leave their homes.
Mediation was offered by Russia, which considers Central Asia as its sphere of influence and has a military base in Tajikistan.
