4,000 Hasidim have already arrived in Uman, Cherkasy region, to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. This is reported by the United Jewish Community of Ukraine .

“According to the United Jewish Community of Ukraine, 4,000 Hasids have already arrived in Uman for the annual Rosh Hashanah pilgrimage. “From today, a large number of Hasidic prochans, who are going to Ukraine from different parts of the world despite the war, demonstrating their faith in the Armed Forces, will start arriving in Uman,” the message reads.

Ihor Taburets, the head of the Cherkasy OVA, reported that about 10,000 Hasidim will come to Uman to celebrate Rosh Hashanah .
From September 19 to 30, security measures will be increased in Uman, Cherkasy region during the Rosh Hashanah celebration .

The Rosh Hashanah holiday, which this year falls on September 25-27, has gained popularity in Ukraine. Every year, 30,000 to 50,000 pilgrims from different countries come to Uman to celebrate the Jewish New Year.
Last year, more than 29,000 Hasidic pilgrims came to the city of Uman to celebrate Rosh Hashanah.
