The head of the Cherkasy regional military administration, Ihor Taburets, reacted to the accusations of people’s deputies Anton Yatsenko and Vitaly Voytsehivskyi, who demand his release. He called their accusations against him destructive.

“If criticism is constructive, it’s good, because it promotes development, allows you to see a certain issue more broadly and meticulously, makes decisions more effective. That is, it works in favor. If we are talking about political statements, accusations are destructive and have certain motives. I am always open to a constructive dialogue aimed at the development of our Cherkasy region. And I will not participate in dirty campaigns,” Taburets said .
It should be noted that Taburets, in turn, filed a lawsuit against Yatsenko regarding the protection of honor and dignity .
Let’s add that Yatsenko himself, who used to be a member of the “Party of Regions”, disappeared from the Cherkasy region with the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. He was not seen in his native district in Uman, and he was also absent from the Verkhovna Rada during the vote for the introduction of martial law in Ukraine.
Cherkasy politician Andriy Dykun said that at the same time they were talking about the arrival in Ukraine of the former head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration and “ex-regional” Serhii Tulub, who fled Ukraine in 2014. As Dykun said , at one time Yatsenko worked under his leadership.
