certificate
Comirnaty from Pfizer-BioNTech is an mRNA vaccine containing matrix ribonucleic acid (mRNA) molecules that encode the spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus envelope. After the vaccine is administered, this mRNA enters the cells of the human body and provides them with a kind of “instruction” on how to create this protein. The immune system recognizes that the protein does not belong to a person and produces antibodies against it. This is how the body learns how to protect itself in the event of an encounter with a real virus.
The vaccine is approved for emergency use by the World Health Organization.
In Ukraine, the Comirnaty vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech was registered on February 22, 2021.
