In the first reading, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported draft law No. 7687 on the order of reservation of conscripts who are not subject to conscription for military service during mobilization. “For” – 305 votes. People’s deputy of Ukraine Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this .

According to the draft law, conscripts who work:
⁃ in state authorities, other state bodies, local self-government bodies, in the case when it is necessary to ensure the functioning of the said bodies in a special period, can be booked;
⁃ at enterprises, institutions and organizations to which mobilization tasks (orders) have been proven, in the case when it is necessary for the fulfillment of proven mobilization tasks (orders);
⁃ at enterprises, institutions and organizations that produce goods, perform works and provide defense services to meet the needs of the army
⁃ at enterprises, institutions and organizations that are critically important for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the livelihood of the population in a special period. Attribution of economic entities to such enterprises, institutions and organizations is carried out according to the criteria and in the order established by the CMU.
The procedure and criteria for booking conscripts for wartime are determined by the CMU.
