KYIV. UkraineGate . 21 . September . 2022 | Society . Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom have confirmed their readiness to assist Ukraine in demining. This was announced by the deputy head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for digital development, digital transformations and digitalization Roman Prymus during a briefing .

“The Canadian government, the US government, Great Britain have confirmed their readiness to help, these are the countries that are definitely ready to provide support (in demining – ed.). Moreover, we have a signed Memorandum on cooperation in this direction with UNDP. Countries that, let’s say, provide less aid, they will provide aid through the UN (development – ed.) Program,” Prymus said.

The US State Department will provide Ukraine with $89 million to train sappers for demining territories.
In August, it was reported that more than 50,000 hectares of agricultural land had been demined in Ukraine.
