This is not the first time that the Egerzund company has had legal proceedings with employees due to illegal dismissals. One of the employees of the chain of stores won the trial and, according to the verdict, was to be reinstated in her position with payment of money for forced absenteeism. This is stated in the decision of the Desnyan District Court of Kyiv .

The employee filed a lawsuit in court, because she found out about her dismissal when she was handed the employment book. At the same time, the woman was not allowed to see the dismissal order. Moreover, the employee was fired while she was on sick leave, which violates the law.
At the same time, the court’s decision states that the woman was tried to be intimidated by the police, pressure was put on her, including physical.

“When the plaintiff was issued with an employment book, two unknown persons entered the office, who, without introducing themselves, informed that they were police officers who suspected the plaintiff of committing some crime, and with the use of physical influence, inflicting the last pain, tried to forcefully bring him to the department to the police, to which the plaintiff categorically refused without providing her with grounds for detention. Then, one of these persons served the plaintiff with a summons to the police department on the same day, while speaking profanity, he began to insult the plaintiff, degrading her honor and dignity, after which the plaintiff went home to her minor children. Thus, the dismissal of the plaintiff was carried out not only without handing over the last copy of the order, but also without carrying out a full calculation”, – the court’s decision states .
