During his evening address, Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to Russians to protest against mobilization in Russia .

“55 thousand Russian soldiers died in this war in half a year. Tens of thousands are wounded, maimed. Do you want more? No? Then protest. Fight. Run away. Or surrender to Ukrainian captivity. These are the options for you to survive,” Zelenskyy said.
Separately, the President appealed to Russian mothers to protect their children from being sent to certain death, as officials do not send their children to war.
“Russian mothers! Do not doubt that the children of the top of your state will not be in the war against Ukraine. Those who make decisions in your country protect their children. And they don’t even hide your children,” Zelenskyy said.
