Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine, made a sharp statement about Iran after discovering the use of Iranian-made drones by the Russian Federation in Ukraine. Andriy Yermak, head of OP, also published a similar statement on his Telegram channel .

“Iran has decided to support Russia by giving the backward country modern drones to kill Ukrainians. After years of sanctions, isolation and a disgusting reputation, the Iranian elite has not realized how to rise from the bottom of civilization,” Podolyak wrote on Twitter.
Andriy Yermak expressed a similar position, but did not directly indicate which country he was talking about.
“Anyone who supports the killing of Ukrainians and helps Russia with weapons is guaranteed isolation. And it’s not just about sanctions,” he said.
What happened before
This week, the Ukrainian Air Force shot down an Iranian-made Shahed-136 enemy kamikaze drone. According to the Ukrainian military, the Iranian UAVs were repainted and marked by the occupiers as Geran-2.
Yesterday, September 23, the multi-purpose strike drone of Iranian production Mohajer-6 was shot down for the first time.
Due to Iran’s supply of weapons to Russia for waging war, the Ukrainian side decided to revoke the accreditation of Iran’s ambassador to Ukraine and to significantly reduce the number of diplomatic staff at the embassy in Kyiv.
