Over the past six months, almost 30,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been awarded awards. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi during a speech on the topic of leadership before Harvard students and teachers .

“Millions of Ukrainians show unprecedented personal leadership every day. Think of only one number – 30 thousand. Almost as many Ukrainian soldiers have already been awarded state awards for bravery during these six months. But it is not only about our soldiers. For Ukraine, this is a people’s war. Millions of people stood up to defend freedom, to defend independence. These are children who support the military: they collect money for defense, write letters to the front and even just carry water to boys at checkpoints. These are thousands of volunteers. These are our heroic doctors and nurses. They perform operations under shelling, give birth in bomb shelters, help those who were crippled by Russian strikes,” Zelenskyi said.
