Actually, for more than 6 months of activity of the chatbot, we managed to receive 24.5 thousand applications from Ukrainian families. After receiving detailed information about this form of arrangement, Ukrainian families have already filled out more than 9 thousand detailed applications, confirming their readiness to participate in this program,” Gerasymchuk said.

According to the Commissioner, more than 5 thousand people have undergone training webinars within the framework of the program. About two thousand families have already fully passed all stages of preparation, training, and are ready today to accept Ukrainian children in need of a family.
“During the training, which is conducted with the support of partners, there are many families who hear not only about the temporary device, but also about the possibility of adoption, about various alternative family forms of education, about family-type orphanages, about foster and foster families – most parents are already collecting documents to create an alternative family form of education, or even agree to adoption,” Gerasymchuk said.
The speaker stressed that the activities of the chatbot “The child is not alone” will expand. In particular, it is planned to establish a “convenient channel of communication with people” in order to tell more and more about various forms of adoption, to train and offer to get acquainted with the information.
“But then this project continued with the creation of a huge website that is filled with materials, webinars, lectures for adults who are close to the child. Actually, the website is called “The child is not alone – instructions for care,” Gerasymchuk added.
