Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said on his Twitter that Ukraine had appealed to the International Court of Justice against the background of attempts to annex its territories by Russia .

According to the Minister, Ukraine informed the International Court of Justice that the attempted annexation of Ukrainian territories is a legal violation of the order on temporary measures.

“After Putin’s attempted annexation, Ukraine officially informed the International Court of Justice that this step grossly violates the legally binding order on interim measures issued on March 16. We urge the court to consider the case on the merits as soon as possible,” Kuleba wrote”.
