Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet said that in Ukraine 7.7 thousand schools (59.74%) work in face-to-face or mixed format, and almost 5.2 thousand (40.26%) – remotely .

“As of October 3, 2022, 12,912 schools are functioning. In the full-time or mixed format, the educational process takes place in 7,714 schools, where more than 2,126,500 students study. Due to the security situation, 5,198 general secondary education institutions (GSEs) are working remotely,” he wrote.

Shkarlet also noted that 34,900 students with special educational needs study in more than 25,000 inclusive classes.
