Minister of Education and Science Serhii Shkarlet said that more than 10.5 thousand schools are already ready for the heating season – this is almost 88% of the total number of general secondary education institutions .

According to him, in some regions, 100% of educational institutions are ready for the heating season. These are Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovohrad, Rivne regions.
According to Shkarlet, Odesa and Kyiv are 99% ready.
He added that depending on the situation, educators can change the schedule of the educational process, including if there are problems with the heating of school premises.

Minister of Education and Science Serhii Shkarlet said that in Ukraine 7.7 thousand schools (59.74%) work in full-time or mixed format, and almost 5.2 thousand (40.26%) – remotely.
