“We have been very clear about this: we will not talk about Ukraine without Ukraine. This is their decision when it comes to any diplomacy or negotiations (between Ukraine and Russia – ed.). We are going to be close to Ukrainians as they fight for their sovereignty. And the decision on their sovereignty, on their freedom, on their democracy will be made with them,” the spokeswoman said.

On October 3, Elon Musk shared his thoughts on his Twitter page on how to achieve an end to the war that Russia has started against Ukraine. In particular, he believes that Crimea should formally be part of Russia, as it was from 1783 to 1954.
The billionaire’s statement led to criticism from Ukrainian Twitter users. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy also reacted to the “formula of peace”. He published a poll asking which Musk liked best – which one supports Ukraine or Russia.
Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Sergiy Kyslytsya also responded to the businessman’s posts and stressed that the next time he needs a plumber, he will call Musk.
Musk later responded to Zelensky that he “still supports our country”, but believes that “a large-scale escalation of the war will cause great damage to Ukraine and possibly the world.”
