Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov called on the Russian military to save Russia from the tragedy, and its army from humiliation .

“This is a message from Kyiv. My name is Alexey Reznikov. I am the Minister of Defense of Ukraine. I appeal to soldiers and sailors, sergeants and sergeants, midshipmen, officers, generals and admirals of the Russian army. I didn’t make a reservation. It is the Russian army. First of all, my words are addressed to officers and command. Because you make a decision,” the minister said.
He noted that the Russian leadership had deceived and betrayed its military by sending it to death for Putin’s illusory goals.
“Your paratroopers are now dying on the right bank of the Dnieper. They know their stuff. But someone in the Kremlin decided to send them to certain death. Why it happens? Everything is very simple. You have been deceived and betrayed. You were promised an easy walk, and sent to a trap. You pay with blood for someone’s fantasies and false goals,” Rezinkov said.
The Minister stressed that his appeal concerns the future of the Russian military, and not the current situation at the front.
“Ask yourself – who do you think you are? What will you be after this war for your children and grandchildren when they recognize the truth? How will you go down in history? How are those who fought under the same flag with the Zeks? You will remain in your memory as thieves, rapists and murderers. I’ll tell you what happens next. Thousands of Russian guys will perish. More will be left without arms and legs,” the minister said.
Reznikov added that Ukrainians do not need Russian land – they have enough of their own.
“And we’ll get it all back. We guarantee life, safety and justice to all who refuse to fight immediately.And we will reach a tribunal for those who gave criminal orders. You can still save Russia from tragedy, and the Russian army from humiliation,” he said.
