As a result of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops wounded at least 789 children in Ukraine and killed 418. This was announced in Telegram by the Prosecutor General’s Office .

“More than 1207 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of October 7, 2022, the official number of child victims per day has not changed – 418. The number of wounded has increased – more than 789,” the message says.

October 5 as a result of enemy shelling of the village. Zarechnoye, Liman district, Donetsk region, was wounded by a 14-year-old boy.
On October 6, the occupiers shelled a residential area of Zaporizhzhia and injured a three-year-old boy.
Children suffered the most in Donetsk region – 405, Kharkiv – 252, Kyiv – 116, Mykolaiv – 75, Chernihiv – 68, Luhansk – 64, Kherson – 57, Zaporizhia – 50, Dnipropetrovsk – 30.
As noted, these figures are not sufficient, as work is underway to identify the victims and dead in places of active hostilities, as well as in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

By bombing and shelling, Russian troops damaged 2608 educational institutions in Ukraine, of which 313 were completely destroyed.
