During the 226 days of a full-scale Russian invasion, the occupiers did not shell Mykolaiv for only 35 days. This was announced at a briefing by the mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Senkevych .

He noted that shelling by Iranian-made drones has recently begun. In total, the number of victims today is 138 people, including one child. 688 people were severely injured, including 10 children.
“The losses that we have accrued are already up to UAH 900 million, but these are losses on communal property, and objects that can be reconstructed or restored. Since we have many objects that have been destroyed to the ground, or require capital investments, we do not even have the opportunity to evaluate this, we need to do design and estimate documentation. That is, the figure will be much higher. In total, 77 educational institutions, 22 cultural institutions, 17 medical institutions, and 15 sports facilities were damaged. That is, the city is being bombed,” the mayor added.
