Russian troops continued shelling the Mykolaiv region at night, and a kindergarten, a school, an outpatient clinic, an agricultural enterprise and warehouses were affected in the Bashtansky district. According to the head of the OVA, also in Bashtansky district:
- Over the past day, the settlements of the Berezneguvatska community were shelled. Information on damaged and damaged residential buildings is being clarified.
- In addition, on October 7, the Shyrokivska community was shelled. The hits were approximately at 12:30, 5:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on the stadium, open areas, and roads. Also today, October 8, shelling was recorded in two settlements of the community. Significant damage was suffered by agricultural enterprises, warehouses, equipment. There are no casualties.
In the Mykolaiv district:
- Yesterday, October 7, from 22:24, the enemy struck the water area of the Ochakov community. There are no casualties.
- Also yesterday, October 7, at about 23:00, a residential building was damaged as a result of shelling of the Galician community. No casualties.

According to the air command “South”, on the evening, October 7, from 20:00 to 21:30, the enemy attacked three kamikaze drones “Shahed-136” in the Mykolaiv region and Odesa region. All three drones were shot down by air defense forces and means of Air Command South.
